McGill String-O-Light temporary lighting systems, for example, go up fast and easy. Each conveniently packaged system contains five or ten socket and cage units on 50 to 200 feet of wire — all ready to go. Easy-open cages save time and eliminate the need for special relamping tools. McGill offers a variety of String-O-Light systems from UL Listed, insulated open conductors to heavy-duty reusable sets.

Industrial extension lights from garage to heavy-duty applications are also available. Quality pays for itself in time savings, convenience, safety, and longer reliable service. Many McGill extension lights feature NO-ROL cages for easy, accurate light positioning, and each has replaceable all-weather cords. Thermoplastic, neoprene, or polypropylene handles, rugged cages, and long-life Levolier™ switches enhance safety while ensuring durability.

ABOUT OUR CATALOG NUMBERS

McGill incandescent extension light catalog numbers consist of a series number, such as 7000, followed by suffix letters indicating optional features. When ordering, specify the features desired:

• Indicate “S” for model with switch, “R” for reflector. “G” indicates grounded. “I” and “H” indicate insulated and non-metallic cages, respectively (for use with size A-19 bulb, up to 100 watts only).

Basic extension lights include:

• The 7000 Series with neoprene handles, the 6000 Series with polypropylene handles, and the 5000 Series with thermoplastic handles.

Catalog numbers for the most popular models are listed in this catalog. Other models can be ordered by dropping the suffix letters of options not desired. For example, if you order a 5000-SRG, you will get the basic, grounded, 5000 extension light — with switch and reflector. 5000-SG is the same, but without the reflector.
